Elmwood's Grocery Bags




The students at Elmwood Elementary particpated in a program called the "Earth Day Groceries Project". Students grades 1 - 6 decorated a brown paper grocery bag with Earth Day images, messages, and symbols. The bags were given to us by Caputo's Fresh Markets in Elmwood Park. We will be bringing the bags back to Caputo's so they can distribute them during Earth Week. We are hoping to spread knowledge and enthusiasm for "going green" that is evident at Elmwood School to the Elmwood Park community.

The Go Green club would like to thank Caputo's Fresh Markets for supporting our green efforts and for giving us the bags. We would also like to thank all the students at Elmwood for their amazing artwork, beautifully decorated bags, and their "go green" spirit! Also, we would like to give a special thank you to the teachers at Elmwood for their support and enthusiasm.
