GO GREEN Club Cleans Up Elmwood School

Today the GO GREEN club participated in a school-yard cleanup. We divided into teams and picked up the litter on our playground, field, sidewalk, blacktop, and other areas around the school. The club members counted pieces of litter as they cleaned them up and we picked up a total of 1,093 pieces of litter during our cleanup. We weighed our bags of litter and it added up to 15 pounds! We took the litter, which was all recyclable, and put it in the recyclables dumpster. The school-yard looks much better when it is litter free! Please help us keep our school looking nice and clean by making sure your garbage ends up in an appropriate place. GO GREEN PANTHERS!
